We were thoroughly delighted with the services provided by Coastal Mechanical! From the no-pressure initial visit with Rob Woodbury and his follow-up when we had additional questions, he explained the process fully and listened to our concerns regarding performance and aesthetics.
The install crew of Dave, Aaron, and Mason was not only neat and professional, but these guys clearly work well as a team. They made adjustments when we wanted placement of 2 of our 4 heat pump units altered and kept the exterior wiring as inconspicuous as possible.
Our system works wonderfully well in the AC capacity, and we are looking forward to seeing how well the heating operation performs.
Additionally, Lisa in the office was fantastic and quickly submitted the paperwork for us to obtain our rebate, which we received in a matter of weeks.

Coastal Mechanical is great. The reason for the 4 stars is that the equipment should have the optional monitoring system module included in the price. This was an extra that I learned of only after the installation was complete and being started up.
Coastal handled all the $10,000 rebate paperwork. I received the rebate check from Mass Save in 4 weeks, which brought the price down to less than $3,000 for a new 3-ton heat pump completely installed in my attic. (I did have an existing unit and ducts.)
Overall the sales, installation, and office people were very helpful and competent.

We had a heat pump installed, some duct work replaced and repaired, and a new zone added about a year ago. The company was professional and started and finished the job on time. The workers were pleasant and answered all my questions. After going through a full heating and cooling cycle, the system is performing well, and the duct repairs increased comfort to the whole house. There were one or two adjustments that were needed in the first year, and they came right out and fixed them quickly. They also took care of the rebate paperwork. I highly recommend them.
